1	Where to obtain or download application for electricity connection?	On website: www.edl.com.la/download_vt.php or at the district EDL branch or electricity payment service center near you.
2	What documents are needed to apply for electricity connection?	* In case customer applying for installation of a new electricity meter counter without transmission line installation 1. A prescribed application form for electricity connection. 2. A copy of family registration book or ID card. 3. A copy of electricity bill. 4. A drawing of location of installation (drawing/picture on Google Earth). * In case of customer applying for installation of electricity meter counter with installation transformer 1. A prescribed application form for electricity connection. 2 An assignment letter (between business owner and electricity service provider) 3 A map of electricity connection and transformer installation site (drawing or Google Earth). 4 Operation plans. 5 An estimation of equipment to be used (including their specifications). 6 Load Profile, if any. 7 A testing certificate of measuring equipment CT, PT, Tr from the factory (testing results for CT, PT from EDL). 8 Types of [top/head] utility pole, types of transformer installation, types of earthing and grounding and single cycle. 9 A power purchase agreement (prescribed form of EDL). 10 An inspection memo (prescribed form of EDL). 11 A copy of business operating license, business registration license and tax license (for applicant applying for electricity connection that is a newly established company) / a copy of family registration book or ID card). * In case of customer applying for electricity connection with installation of medium voltage 22kV with distance transmission of 2km and lower, installation of low voltage 0.4kV with distance transmission of 500m and lower – Documentation shall apply with the same requirements as for the installation of transformer installation.
3	Where to submit the application and supporting documents?	One-stop service unit at each district EDL branch or electricity payment service center.
4	How long does it take to complete electricity connection?	Maximum is 7, 14 and 32 working days from the date of submission.
